Pass the Torch Event with Maggie Fox
Tuesday, February 26, 2008
What is it?
Pass the Torch is Women 2.0 Ottawa’s first formal networking & learning event! And we've invited guest speak Maggie Fox of Social Media Group to share her experiences as a woman leader in the social media space! Maggie will also share her experiences and lessons learned in starting her own company.
For this event we are borrowing from the Girl Geek Dinners theme. Which means, if you are male and plan to attend this event, you must bring a female with you or be brought by a female. (btw: Maggie founded the Toronto Girl Geek Dinners chapter)
When & where?
Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 6:30-8:30 pm (doors open at 6:00 pm)
Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
Ramius Corporation Headquarters
530-55 Metcalfe Street (at Queen)
Tel: 613-230-3808 x 242
Cost: $5 at the door (funds will be used to support future Women 2.0 speaker events)
